IMPORTANT: Please keep any spraying males/females
caged or in the bathroom, then clean the bathroom. Please use trash bags to throw out any used litter, empty cans of cat food,
or anything else smelly, and bring them to the show hall where you can dispose of them.
Transportation: The closest airports
are Gregg County (GGG) and Shreveport, La (SHV). There are very reasonable r/t rates at both of these airports.
We have received information from other exhibitors/judges : Chicago to Shreveport $250, Albuquerque to Longview $240, Las
Vegas to Shreveport $250. Show management can provide transportation to/from both of these airports. DFW international
is about 2.5 hours away. If you would share a rental vehicle, please get in touch with show management and we will be
happy to help arrange carpools.
Show
Hours: Check-in will be from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9:00 AM on Saturday
and 9:00 AM on Sunday. Advertised show hours for the public are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday. All
cats must remain in the show hall during advertised show hours unless permission to leave is given by show management. No
cats may be left overnight in the show hall.
Registration:
With the exception of Korats, registration with TICA is not necessary for cats, kittens, alters, or household pets
to compete. Registration is necessary for your entry to be scored for titles, regional and international awards. Championship
cats, kittens, alters, and household pet adults will only be scored once without registration. Information about registration

Show Rules: The Show Rules
of The International Cat Association will be in full force and effect throughout this show. You may obtain a copy of the show
rules from TICA, PO Box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551, (512) 428-8046 for $7.00 or viewed on their website at www.tica.org. By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by these rules.
Awards:
Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules.
Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fleas,
fungus, or other illness will be escorted from , along with any other cats owned, housed, or agented by the same exhibitor.
All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and panleukopenia, and should test negative
for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any feline from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious
illness within twenty-one days prior to the opening day of the show is ineligible for entry. An obviously pregnant or lactating
cat will be disqualified. TICA show rules require all claws, front and back, be clipped prior to judging. Declawed cats are
eligible for entry.
Kittens: Kittens
(pedigreed or HHP) entered in the show must be at least four calendar months old, but less than eight calendar months old,
on the day of the show and may be spayed or neutered. Kittens in the show hall for sale and/or exhibition must be at least
three months old.
Household Pets: HHP
adults (8 months and older) must be spayed/neutered. HHP adults are judged in 10 color/pattern divisions.
Cages: Each entry will be provided a single benching cage measuring
24"L x 22"W x 22"H and are provided with each entry. Full cage size is 48"L x 22"W x 22"H. You
may pay extra with a single entry to have the full (double) cage for your cat. All cages must be covered on the sides and
top. You may want to bring a rug, blanket, etc. for the bottom of the cage and other items to make your cat feel more comfortable.
You will need to bring litter pan(s), food bowls, and food. Litter will be provided.
Benching: All exhibitors will have assigned benching. Benching requests MUST
be clearly indicated on the summary sheets, and we will try to accommodate all requests. Otherwise we will bench by
breed. No one may change their benching without permission of Show Management. No one may leave before the advertised show
hours without permission of the Show Management.
For
Sale: Sales cages will be available to exhibitors. TICA rules allow no more than two kittens or one cat benched
in a single cage. Once that animal is sold you may not place another animal for sale into that cage without paying the appropriate
fees. No kitten under 3 months of age will be allowed in the show hall (be prepared to show proof of age), and no kittens
or cats may be confined to carriers during show hours.
Clerks
& Stewards: If you are interested in clerking, please indicate so on the summary sheet, along with any judge
preference. TICA licensed clerks will be given preference and judge requests will be honored to the best of our ability. TICA
certified clerks will be compensated $30 per day plus lunch and a fully marked catalog. You will be compensated at the end
of the show on the day you clerk. Stewards may also be needed. Please let us know if you have someone available.
Entries/Payment: Emailed entries will be accepted; however payment must be mailed within 24 hours. Or enter online . We also accept

For the comfort of our exhibitors and spectators: The show hall
area will be designated as nonsmoking. Children are always welcome at our shows; but for the enjoyment of all, we request
that youngsters be supervised at all times. Show management reserves the right to ask parents to control or remove disruptive
children as well as any other disruptive exhibitors, spectators, etc.
Liability: Neither La Cat Club, TICA, nor Long View Exhibit Hall can be held liable for
loss, theft, accident to animals, personal property, exhibitors, or their guests.
